The Gran Reserva of Señorío de Sarría
only comes on the market in exceptional vintages.
Of the different grape varieties in our 210 hectares
of vineyards only a small amount of the most excellent
grapes are selected for the elaboration of this wine.
WINEMAKING
Each variety is vinified separately following the
traditional method in stainless steel vats and at
a controlled temperature of around 28°C. After
the malolactic fermentation and racking, the blending
of varieties is made before ageing the wine in barrels.
Contact with the Allier oak is maintained for three
years with racking every six months. After this stage,
the wine is bottled and stored for at least two years
so that it reaches the desired body and bouquet.
TASTING
Deep ruby red with ambar highlights. Intense aroma
of truffle, cocoa and spices, on a background of Allier
oak. Complex, long and well structured in the mouth.
Strong and full of sensations. Best served at 18°-19°C.
Ideal for red meats, roasts, venison, mushrooms and
cheese.
