Señorío de Sarría shines with Gold and the “Best of Show Navarra” award at the prestigious Mundus Vini 2025 competition

Señorío de Sarría Reserva Especial 2019 is recognized as the most outstanding wine from Navarra at the prestigious international competition.

Puente la Reina, September 23, 2025 – The Señorío de Sarría winery has achieved resounding success at the Mundus Vini Summer Tasting 2025, one of the most influential wine competitions worldwide. Its Señorío de Sarría Reserva Especial 2019 was awarded a gold medal and the title of “Best of Show Navarra,” consolidating its position as the most outstanding wine from the Designation of Origin in this edition. This prestigious recognition, awarded by an international jury after tasting more than 1,800 wines, endorses the quality of Señorío de Sarría Reserva Especial 2019. Limited to 25,000 bottles and made with Cabernet Sauvignon from its own vineyards in Puente la Reina, it has been aged for 24 months in French oak barrels. It has an intense cherry red color, complex aromas of ripe black fruit, cocoa, vanilla, spices, and a balsamic background with notes of mint and chocolate. On the palate, it is powerful, structured, and elegant, with a long, round, and balanced finish. More than just a wine of excellence, it reflects the identity and tradition of the D.O. Navarra, showcasing the unique character of this land. Señorío de Sarría’s brilliant performance was rounded off with another Gold Medal for its Señorío de Sarría Viñedo Uno 2021, consolidating the winery’s reputation as a creator of wines that combine quality, character and the authentic identity of the D.O.
